You Asked: How to use Pepperstone cTrader?

We Answered...

If you are ready to start choosing a platform, no doubt you have already checked out Pepperstone’s excellent credentials and satisfied yourself that they are a good choice for you. If you would like more information on this broker, it is on our recommended list and you can read our in-depth resume under the ‘Broker Reviews’ section.

Pepperstone offers traders a choice of three platforms, MT4, MT5 and cTrader, all have their own merits and are equally powerful, so it will likely come down to a matter of personal choice. MT4 and cTrader are both available as Demo account platform options, so you could run a side by side comparison if you wanted.

There are around 90 assets to choose from for the cTrader platform, but if you have anything particular in mind you can use the ‘Market Finder’ tool to search, this is located on the left-hand side of the screen. You will also find many easy to use charts and tools, making this platform a good choice for those not ready for the complexities of MT4 or MT5.

Easy to use certainly does not mean less functional. The cTrader also has numerous advanced analysis tools and you can easily add any indicators you may want such as RSI and moving averages. For those who like to ‘play’ you can also customise the interface in terms of layout or colour scheme and even take screenshots at any point during a trade.

It is worth noting that there are sometimes small differences in the spreads between the cTrader and MT4 platforms if you are a Razor Account client, but these are nominal and not likely to be of sufficient worth to affect your platform choice.
