You Asked: How to use the Plus500 demo account?

We Answered...

Founded in 2008, Plus500 is one of the longest-standing retail brokers available. Being extremely well regulated under the UK FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission), it is considered a safe and reliable broker.

Plus500 keeps everything straightforward and open, including its trading environment. There is no bewildering choice of platforms for you to deal with either, the broker employs a single version of WebTrader that is exceptionally user-friendly and does not differ regardless of whether you are using a demo or live account.

It takes only a few minutes to open a demo account with Plus500, only requiring you to provide your name and e-mail address. If you have either a Facebook or Google account, you can log in straight away using that, or you can set up a different username and password if preferred.

Plus 500 will send you e-mail confirmation almost immediately and your demo account will become available to use straight away and is pre-loaded with £40,000. The demo platform is free to use for as long as you want.

Although this version of WebTrader is very intuitive and straightforward, you will need some prior knowledge of how this type of trading works. To get the best use from your demo account, we recommend (as a minimum) that you are familiar with Forex and CFDs, but particularly with spreads, as this is the main factor that will affect your payouts and losses.
